Will a canary cock and a goldfinch cock attack each other if in the same cage?
If they are in condition or not? Or one is but not the other?
I have had them in together for 24 hours and nothing is happening. does this mean its a goldfinch hen? Or will two cocks get on ok anyway?
HELP
Will a Cananry cock tolerate a goldfinch?

The 2 cocks should be fine together, when they come into breeding condition may be a bit of a different story due to your hen being close by, I've had many cock canaries in the same cage without any major problems but you will still get a little disturbance when 1 gets in the others space. It also comes down to the birds how tolerant they are. Because they're not fighting doesn't mean that your goldfinch is a hen. If it is you'll end up with some mules.
