Hi, I Wondered if anybody is using any of the following products and what experinces you have had with them:

KD Water Cleanser
Megamix Water Cleanser
Dufoplus
Ioford
Turbobooster
E Powder
FVite
Quik-gel

Ive seen the diet regime he recommends for healthy birds . Each day is a different vitamin or water additive.

Im sure the birds would not be lacking anything on this regime, only thing is once you have a few birds the cost of treating them all would be beyond my budget .

I used to use a fair bit of Rob Marshall's stuff when living in Parramatta some years ago (Rob was our local vet). Great stuff, but as jusdeb says it can get pretty pricey if you've got more than a few birds. The Turbobooster is particularly excellent - it's an oily concoction you mix with the seed - I forget what's in it. I fed it to my Gouldians once a week and it really stimulated them - within 24 hours you'd think they've all got ADHD - real hyperactive!

How much dos this cost mate?

Used turbobooster as a seed additive & F-vite as mineral supplement - both ok.

I use all the products you have listed and feel the health of my birds is great as a result...I am particularly a fan of the Turbo Boost and Quick Gel. I use the Quick Gel twice a week in their water during the cold months to help with their energy levels and it's great....many years ago when I first used Turbo Boost during the molt I noticed a significant improvment in the depth of color of the birds....I now use it twice a week during molt and breeding season...

The products are not cheap, but I only have 8 pairs of Gouldians...but I also go by the theory of spending money on giving them the best available to ensure they are as healthy as possible rather than spend money when they are ill.....cheers, Paul
