I wonder how many birds are able to survive these conditions?

That Is so cruel keeping hundreds of birds cramped up in aviaries. Do people really buy from these people or what??

Look at what they do with our sheep that we export ..... totally different values when it comes to animals over there .
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.

Surprisingly they all look in remarkably good physical health. Not so sure about their psychological state.

Thanks Sam for causing me to waste half my morning on that site.

Can anyone tell me what the birds are that are in the cage on the ground-3min 10secs to 3mins 20 secs. Look nice. Looked at some of his other youtubes and surprisingly he has some good colour mutation zebs in his "exhibition birds clip. Someone over there must be breeding fair amounts of longtails and goulds when you see his Australian Finches" clip. Don't agree with the cramped conditions but I agree that overall they didn't look in too bad a physical condition. He must have a fair turnover though given the amount of stock he has on hand. Wonder who buys them and where they go?

Orange Cheeked Waxbills.
I suspect the African ones are wild caught and I'd also suspect they're so stressed by the cameraman that any sick ones would be hard to spot. I noticed that some of the clips say "fresh" (eg. Fresh Imported Hooded Parrots http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_KdoJaxtec) so maybe the not so "fresh" ones don't look so hot. Perhaps the aussie finches are all "fresh" too.

Australian birds should never be treated like that.
