12 hours in car with other half and 2 dogs .
Am stuffed .

They are the most endearing little birds. Years ago I obtained five birds and ended up with over thirty. They can raise four or five young to a clutch unlike the larger species that only have two. You will grow very attached to them.

Thats great deb, are purple crownd lorrikeets noisy and are they easy to keep?.

They never sit still long enough to get a photo but I will try ....
They sure are endearing little buggers . They were suppose to go into an aviary but with this cold weather I dont know what to do .
How different is the climate in Cessnock to Dubbo ?
Oh and surprise surprise they got the projectile pooping down pat ...ewwwwww

OK not the best photos but I dont know the body language of these birds and can not tell if they are stressed by me or not ....

Thanks GregH ...I bought slightly older birds ( over 12 months rather than under ) in the hope of a few youngins this year . Fingers crossed.
