Hi I have heard that they have developed in Europe a large size gouldian just like the zebra finches. Has anyone heard or seen these birds, where can I get to see a picture of such bird compared to a normal size gouldian finch, any links would be appreciated.

Click on that link and this is south of sydney australia. i got my first birds off him. Notice it says 8 yrs of progress. Pete breeds some real quality. Glad my first birds came from him

And wow that is s big difference, do you know if they have such birds in Belgium and holland also, i am trying to get some birds from there for my breeding, i think they have been selective breeding for the last maybe 29 years.

Last time i spoke to him all his normals were possibly split WB and now Blues.

I thought the breeder of the birds in the pics lived in Qld?

His name is Peter Bradbury & he lives at Shell Harbour NSW. He advertises in JF&S magazine.

Yep, thats the guy, I was going by the breeder profile in the JF&S magazine issue 24, I just remembered seeing Coolangatta and assumed Qld

great guy peter, and great birds aswell, he has helped me out heaps
