I have 4 eggs in my zebras nest,how many hours a day will she spend sitting on the eggs.

the male and female will alternate at about 1.5 hours apiece, and both at night :)

she will probably spend most of the day on the eggs, coming out at times for a rest and feed while the male does the sitting. congratulations by the way, lets hope they hatch. :D :thumbup:

by the way if she gets scared off the nest or they are both off, don't worry unless they have been off for more than 15 minutes....

I keep an eye on them from the window,they don't seem to be going in the nest to sit,i dont disturb them unless i change the water and feed.

She probably won't really begin to incubate until she has laid all her eggs, so that they all hatch at the same time :)
