I have 4 eggs in my zebras nest,how many hours a day will she spend sitting on the eggs.

the male and female will alternate at about 1.5 hours apiece, and both at night

she will probably spend most of the day on the eggs, coming out at times for a rest and feed while the male does the sitting. congratulations by the way, lets hope they hatch.

by the way if she gets scared off the nest or they are both off, don't worry unless they have been off for more than 15 minutes....

I keep an eye on them from the window,they don't seem to be going in the nest to sit,i dont disturb them unless i change the water and feed.

She probably won't really begin to incubate until she has laid all her eggs, so that they all hatch at the same time
