It will be a very exciting moment for all zebra finch breeders if they do put it out. I'd dare say that it'd cost a lot though ( in zebra finch perspective )
Can't wait till the do, if they do :D

That's cool. Other than the changes to the feather structure/direction, I'd say this must be something like an opaline...

The are being bred in Adelaide and the couple that breed them will not let them out to the public or other breeders, myself they can keep em.

Sorry to the Zebra followers but what an ugly so called mutation.
All it does is denegrade the normal Zebra Finch.
Personally if that turned up in my breeding stock I would split the parents up.
To those who want to keep it to themselves, normally I would say that is a poor attitude but in
this case possibly doing us a favour.

I am a lover of the zebs and all their mutations but in this case I must agree with E Orix. This bird just looks kind of wrong... more like a deformity than a mutation.

I'm a very excitable person when it comes to things like mutations, especially zebras.
At first when I saw this new mutation I was really excited about what it would look like but then........... I did a bit more study into it and ya know.......... It's not a very exciting bird at first glance and kinda looks like crap. Thats all I can say. :silent:
