That's definitely different. Saw one similar to that before in a pet store Except it didn't have all the white on the head.
Is this yours nsw?????

Nice looking zebra. Just a question as i am not up with the mutations in zebra finches. Is it possible to breed a bird similar to the photo without the brown feathering on the back. Can the brown be replaced by black or white feathering. Just curious thats all.

Probably going out on a limb here but I don't think it in any way compares to the beauty and balance of a "NORMAL" version, the one that mother nature introduced to us all. It looks to me like it is 1 generation from performing flying stunts.
No offence intended.

Is it luck of the draw with this mutation or is it possible to consistently breed this type?

Quite nice, like both charcol and pied. So the combination is not something I would sneeze at.
