Notification of editing by admin

There have been instances of posts or chat comments being edited or deleted by admin. Also recently one of my for sale posts was also edited but as I don't know what was changed or why, then I cannot learn from that and avoid doing it again. I know at times it has been obvious - bird chat, comments that might raise controversy etc. Other times it isn't always so clear.
Would it be possible for Admin to notify a member when posts are edited, not with a view to entering into a debate about whether or not it should have, but merely to advise that it was done and why so we can learn from that.
Thanksl :)

The only editing we do in the classifieds area is usually to add the location to the subject line. Which is what I did to yours :shifty:
Also at times we have felt the need to remove contact details from posts for example a phone number.
Some of us have had posts disappear in the past couple of day's, BB has been doing some tidy up work.

To answer your question though, yes admin & mods can start putting reasons for any edits on the posts.
