Red Rumps I wouldn't even think about keeping with finches .
Scarlets I have kept with them happily however after a recent incident with a Princess killing my Scarlet male all small parrots ( Bourkes and Scarlets ) are being put into small aviaries on their own .

Scarlets make a nice addition to a finch aviary . Very sweet little birds indeed.

Honestly its about aviary dynamics , some get away with it some dont .
Its like Budgies and Finches ...I know people with them together in small aviaries no problems , myself wouldn't do it .

I had to pick a dead Scarlet out of a nest box on the weekend , my new rule is no more mixed aviaries .

Ive sold Finches to people who to my horror put them in with Budgies and Rabbits , never bred for me but now they are breeding like ...well RABBITS .

Its the luck of the draw maybe , docile birds = harmonious aviaries.
