I was digging through cupboards looking for ABK mags when i came across some old finch books. QFS handbooks, The Foreigns and The Australians. I also found Klauss Immelmans guide to Australian Grass Finches. I think i also have every Russel Kingston book. Are any of these very valuable? I know were not talking big bucks but just curious. Also old ABK mags going back to 2003 ??

Magazines not sure.
Immelman and QFS - $10 to $20 on ebay (each)
Kingston $70 to $100 on ebay (not the grassfinch one)

I'll take "Keeping and Breeding Seedeaters and Finches" and "a Complete Manual" off your hands if you are looking at doing a clean out.

Sorry but the only reason i went looking was for a young forum member (he was after ABK mags) and i had promised him a book or two on a loan basis. The books your after were gifts from family so i cant sell them. Thanks anyway.

EBay will give you an idea of value. If you want to keep the value don't get them creased or damaged loaning them.

Unfortunately Gomer my books are like my old troopy, well used and a bit creased. To devalue either you would need fire involved.

QFS I paid $13 for in x condition .

Ive bought a few of the older books both finch and parrot from ebay the most expensive was $28 Stan Sindels Lorikeets (Aviary and field )bit of damage where a bird had chewed it

Cheapest $3 was Sodderbergs Finches ... good book for 1956 .
