Does anybody keep and breed the Aberdeen Finch anymore :?:

Too many crosses with Cutthroats I assume....thats too bad....I wonder if its possible to out cross it? Read somewhere that they did same thing with wild pony in Europe..outcrossed back to original...

Hi,

Does anyone know if the guy in Bundy is still breeding the Aberdeens? Does anyone know of any other breeders? I know about one in northern NSW and possibly another in the Southern Queensland area. Happy to receive PMs with the info if people would prefer not to put the details online. Thanks.

I saw some advertised recently I believe in Sydney.
I think the seller was Siskin?

Those birds are the from the same breeder Suzanne was talking about in the Hunter area.

So the ones on Petlink are they pure or not? I spoke to him a few weeks back he had to go half way thru our talk and never rang back.
