They work a treat for mealworms.
Can't see the benefit for frozen food though, after all it's best not to leave that out too long as it soon goes off.
When away for a few days I fill them up and those that are left when we're back are still happily crawling around.
It doesn't work that well with fly gents as they soon turn into pupa(?)

Hmm, look very similar to the ones I've used before, but looks in the photos like the dispensing mechanism is even bigger... Might be something to try for those afternoon feeds that I'd otherwise miss... Thanks for the link!

We bought a similar one off ebay via china for $13.50 including postage, arrived in about 10 days. We are using it on a fish pond with small pellets
and it works really well on 2 feeds per day.Just open up the width of the dispenser for larger food.
Cheers Greg.

I use a very similar to feed maggots - I can usually get about 2 drops out of it which is fine as I feed them in the morning before work, then use the auto-feeder during the day (you can set different times for it to dispense). My Cordons have gone from starving chicks 3 days after they fledge, to rearing young to independence! I got it on eBay for $15 or so - it's paid for itself 20 times over!!
