pied diamond sparrows

sorry,i
i put these photos in the wrong section under diamond sparrows - it should have been in this section mutations where there are bird fanciers with assorted mutations in their collections.
she/he is suppose to be a hen. paired up in a aviary with other pieds and fawns. about 8 months old so hopefully in the next few months i can get here to breed

Great looking bird.
The yellow legs look unusual to me. I'm not familar with pied diamonds, do they all have yellow legs?

i didn't take any notice of that myself and ive had them a couple of months. i will check out the other pieds and let you know

As both appear to have yellow legs, looks like it is a pied thing. Very nice looking.

Nice looking birds
It's interesting the Australian pieds have yellow feet and the European pieds have grey feet, maybe it's just the way the pied has marked them, I know with some birds like cockatiels they get a pink foot or toe if that's where the pied marking happens to show.
