fast working new Zebs

Well here are my 2 new Zebra Finches , now I am only guessing they are Isobels so feel free to correct me please.

I deliberately put a wire cylinder at the front of the cage so I can observe and learn close up more about these little birds , hasn't fazed them any as you can see by the construction zone .

Anyhoo they went into this cage yesterday , still kinda a quarantine cage but one where they can happily live for an extended period.

I may be wrong deb but they looked like marked whites to me..... but still lovely looking birds anyways.....pete

Been a long time since I bred Zebbies...but from what I remember if they were marked whites the teardrop on the hen would be still there...But pretty for mutants :D :D

I am with Finchman101. Not Isabels and the hen is White and cock bird is yeah a Marked White or Chestnut Flanked White, seems very light on markings so more CFW.
Breeding Show Zebra Finches, Blue Gouldians, Pied Orange Breast.

AMCA26 you seem to be the resident Zebra finch expert.....what the difference between whites and all white pieds? years ago we nearly always had marked pieds...and to get a white they would be occasionly crossed out to fawns to lessen the colouring further...hench all white pieds?

vettepilot_6 , i dont know that much still learning. I cannot answer that but it would be a fair effort to get a completely Pied bird White. May as well go and buy a White. :crazy:
The guys showing birds i think wouldnt even try that as the bird must have a certain amout of Pied, but i can only speak for myself.
