Today I stumbled across a Vet ebook site, and I downloaded some of the more relevant ones, to put up here.

Ceva - https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B6fdJq ... k&hl=en_US" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (A large book showing common poultry diseases, and how to identify them in an autopsy.)
Clinical Avian Medicine - https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B6fdJq ... 2&hl=en_US" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (Another book, showing much the same)
Hand-rearing Birds - https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid= ... 0&hl=en_US" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Handbook of Avian Medicine - https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid= ... 2&hl=en_US" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (Another book detailing the treatment of birds)
Avian Necropsy Manual - https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid= ... 3&hl=en_US" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (A guide showing how to autopsy a bird)
Colour Manual Diseases of Birds - https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid= ... y&hl=en_US" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I must warn you. All of those books show medical pictures of birds, if you cannot handle them, please don't visit.

ABKs "A Guide to Basic Health & Disease in Birds" written by Dr Michael Cannon is also an excellent book written for the aviculturist, not the vet, and so is very easy to read. Even though it is 15 years old now it is still largely very relevant.

there's a book called "everybird" which I think outlines a lot of parasites, it's been a while since I've read it. It's in the national library....

I can recommend Everybird by Pat Mcwhirter ...easy to read and although getting a little old still a great source of info regarding bird health and disease.
