He was very concerned about our being near his tree ....

Hmm... Can't narrow it down far, but I'd call it a Falco bird. I'd probably go for a Nankeen Kestrel, though I can't be sure.

Nooooo straight little beak like a wren and not much bigger than a good size Willie Wagtail . Grey belly and dark back . I know its a shocking photo .
Very curious little bird , not shy either that or very brave . Hmmmm OK taking decent camera back next week so will hopefully see him again , thanks for trying .

Couldnt be a swallow could it? Although the tail has shorter wires than I would have thought, that and the fact that Ive seen quite a few swallows in the garden over the last few days swooping in and out of the shed.

a swift perhaps, or a white throated needletail? I don't know anything aboiut their range though

Not a swallow . Stout body not streamlined like a swallow and bigger ....Trying to make the photo bigger but losing clarity .
