White Throated Swift ...nope


Grey belly and chest , brown back ,didnt fly like a swallow . Good chance it was defending a nest so good chance it will be in the same place next week.

More googling to find an answer .

Treemartin? bit more solid looking than swallow and nesting at the moment over here. So glad our dog's not scared of storms, it's so distressing to see them like that.

It is distressing poor old fella is 11 years old and still goes to pieces .
Even sedatives from the vets only calm him down a little . Last storm was right over us and very loud , even the normally bomb proof indoor dogs were cuddling up in fear .

My Jack Russell is also 11 years old and still a complete wimp during storms, and fireworks.

So guess where there was a big thunderstorm last night? Dead right here! And all night rainstorm. Between the dog sooking and the hubby griping about her, I need toothpicks to hold the eyes open this morning.
