That would probably be the last straw to me being committed ...my daughter has already offered to surrogate a baby for me and my partner is on egg shells for fear he will come home one day to find the birds moved inside .
In other words no but they do get Raspberry Cordial on occasion .

Not sure about using herbal tea, but some members in some Yahoo based groups I belong to (mainly USA based) use essential oils and neem oil or neem tea seems to be a favourite. Having said that they always stress the need for the "real" thing to be used and to me it seems quite complicated.

I have used Green tea bag on a swollen eye of my parrots, has helped with swelling but never given it to them as food.

No idea about the tea but I'd be very careful about using any neem products where they are injested. I know a cattle breeder who cut down a neem tree one afternoon & threw the branches over the fence to the cattle. Next morning 5 cows were dead.

I thought from the way they go on about the need for the "real" neem and the minute detail they go into that it couldnt be an easy thing. Far too easy to overdose I reckon with stuff like that. Not for me.

My daughter has a bad reaction (headaches nausea) from Lavender ...simple old everyday Lavender . So Im kinda wary of herbs , they can be powerful things .
