Well that's the last time I buy anything from Bunnings....standing in line waiting to be served and they closed the register...they say sorry to us register is closed (methinks okay move to next register) within 2mins of moving reopen that same register WTF??? so left all the goodies and walked out never to return I'm going back to Mitre 10 better prices and service anyway

Have been frequenting Mitre 10 a bit lately too . Not happy with Bunnings for other reasons

We were sooo disgusted!! I swear if it was a bloke I would have let him have a few choice words before leaving too....then to top it off they say thanks for coming ....come back soon Missus says not likely

I dont think customer service is as important as making money these days ...been to Big W or Target lately ? You now have to line up in what I call the cattle race and wait to be called .

Had a girl at Coles ask me how many items I had the other day ...15 says I ...Oh you have to go through another checkout 12 or less through here . Well I dont hold back at the best of times and the F bomb hit her like a slap in the face . Seriously there was no one behind me so is 3 items going to matter ?

Bunnings ..well its not just the customers who are treated like crap lately . $120 annual bonus PALEASE last years was $400 plus . Seminars 150 kls away without pay and then unpaid sick leave with a docs cert and something like 2 years worth of holidays sitting there .

I think these big stores have forgotten about people both staff and customers ...which by the way the store would be nothing without./

And now other half tells me I have to socialise with them this coming friday night ...another palease . Thinking I might be sick that day .

Good grief a few ales and a disgruntled Deb ...nothing good can come from this .

Well the idea that society is breaking down and the younger generation is impolite and perhaps not as intelligent as the previous is something that has bothered philisphers since before Plato, yet here we are. Of course the older I get the more I tend to agree with this idea. Here's a link on the ABC to someone who thinks the same: Alexander Smith commenting on "dangerous ideas".

Yep I wouldn't go either Deb....Coles Kmart Bunnings Supercheap Target n BCF all owned by Wesfarmers and yes all they care about is the almighty $$ well sorry I'm going back to the little guys at least they value their customers as my tagline says cheap isn't everything I'm afraid....and there is always the internet

Sadly all the smaller stores are dissapearing . Cant compete with the bigger stores .

I find that Mitre 10 is cheaper than Bunnings anyway. I bought some plumbing stuff from Mitre 10 at half the price that Bunnings sold it for.

Yep found same thing and SuperCheap great marketing but always dearer then other Auto Shops...
