Hello All,

I am just posting to say hello...joined early this morning,
I used to breed a mixed colony of Australian finches..(double bars, picta embelas, parson, red-browed) this was about twenty years or so ago. I then went into breeding Gouldians & the mutations in a big way....Also bred Varied lorikeets to name one of the parrots that I kept.
I had to give away my birds owing to work commitments, but have always kept my interest in them though.
I joined the forum because i am thinking seriously in getting back into Gouldians & just hoping to get some new ideas.

Cheers
Ripley

Thankyou all for your kind welcome...
I have just finished reading the new book by Paul *censored* "Suitable Housing for Finches & Softbills".... If you haven't seen it yet, i would encourage you to search out a copy. It's a book that opened my mind to a few new ideas...
What has other people thought of it?

Cheers
