While working on our property today....Big splashes in our dam (wish I had camera with us ) and spotted this pretty guy.... :thumbup:

If you're asking is he out of his normal range I wouldn't have thought so at Childers.

May have been after frogs or yabbies in the dam, more likely than fish.

Blue wings go down to about Maryborough, then inland west of Ipswitch to Tawoomba, but not on the coast,I saw one at Red Ridge in the mid '90's when I was living in Bundy.
