Oh about here I wanted to throw in pic of the Blue Princess Parrots I started hand rearing today however I am too buggered and may have baby brain or is that bird baby brain ?

If you ever wondered why they have such big feet its so they can run away from Deb ...21 days old and run like a road runner

So so different to Quarrion .

Note to self ...pull the buggers out at 14 days next time .
Another note to self ...check clothes for bird poop before going shopping .

Ive been thinking about that VR1... :?

Main reason why Im letting them raise the first clutch themselves .

Delaying those squirty poops as long as possible .

Been there, done that, my fashion faux pas was having white feathers sticking out of my hair at the back. I believe the fashion at the time was for black....

If you have birds and haven't been caught out with feathers or poop on you then you just aren't spending enough time on your birds. :lolno:

I find bits of tea tree in my dreads occasionally... usually as I'm leaving the aviaries, but sometimes it sticks a while longer...

Met the postie today with the caggy remains of a lorikeet nest which I changed by hand on my hands ..why ? so I could feel any babies among the spent shavings ...now that's love.
