my father and i went out for a drive in the forest today and found tons of swamp grass (correct me if i'm wrong) and brought it home and planted it in the aviaries.
so far so good, the birds especially quails love it, and hiding amongst it!! hopefully the birds can use the dry bits of it to make their nests.

That looks great .
I made a corner hideaway form the same grass for my quail , even though the grass died it still stayed upright and gives them a nice cosy corner to totally ignore and lay eggs all over the place .
Hopefully your Quail are smarter than mine .
