I'm not a fan of mutations, but each to their own.
I am a bit suspicious about the creams.......they have red beaks which would inidicate Red-billed (Hecks) Longtail blood.......I know you guys overseas dont get alot of new blood and somtimes have to make do with what you have, even if it is hybriising two closely related species. Its also a pretty common method used by mutant breeders
to introduce a desired colour into another species, eg, cream longtail crossed with Black throat to get cream in the blackthroat population.........I'm thinking thats how we got what we see in the photo

i have this birds 5 years, and i don't have any Red-billed Longtailed grass finch here.
Here in Belgium the red beaks we needed form the shows (this is asked in the standaards)
And for new blood i have 200 black throated here, what you see in the photo is a crossing over from brown and creme-ino.

Beautiful birds
. Although I am the advocates of natural colors. This gentle color difference for "Gourmet", only for true connoisseurs.

Thank you mackstaa,
In Dutch the genetic makeup is " geslachts gebonden"
In english i think it is "sex linked"
