Only a guess but the 1st could be a black headed python and the second possibly an olive python. Looks like the second one has a nice feed on a small wallaby.
Both a re found in the north of this wide brown land.

Looks like a blackheaded head. But looks way to long to be one.

We know the first one as a cane snake. Tough little so and so's, we ran over one right through it's middle, all four tyres. Like going over a speed hump at 100kmh. Snake continued on it's merry way.

I was sent pic 1 on email from my cousin in Tamworth inferring that it may be a King Brown with the photo taken near Gunnedah NSW.

Agree it seems to be big for a King Brown.

I hate to rain on your parade, but the top picture has been circulating around the traps for quite a while and is a fake or hoax. Have a look at how shiny and how un-natural the pose of the snake is.

The second pic is genuine,

The sugar cane snake we ran over wasn't though! Head was off the road, tail was over the white line so several metres long. We went back to photograph him (as you do  ) but he was long gone.
