G'Day, i am a time poor life long bird fanatic who has a vision of working less and spending more time with the birds. i have not been without birds for any length of time ever since i was in primary school. even when i was living in a flat in Sydney i manage to keep a small cage with a pair of orange breasts. i currently have a reasonably large 'habitat' aviary with a pond and waterfall with colonies of orange breasts, double bars, ruddies and jacarini's but (largely due to my neglect) i only seem to breed enough each year to replace those that pass away (although i may have to clear some jacarini's as on last count i had 12 with a further 2 nests with eggs - i didn't think they were supposed to get on that well together!) i have recently started fulfilling my vision by commencing construction on a 9 aviary + holding aviaries + birdroom + live food breeding room complex which by the time i finish (few years away yet) i hope to be working less and spending some serious time with the birds. in the meantime i hope to glean from your collective wealth of knowledge and experience as much info as i can and hopefully i can throw in my two bobs worth along the way. Regards Corindabella.

Welcome. Sounds like you have the ideal set up for Jacarinis.

Welcome to the forum. I think VR1Ton means the Woolys who own Summerland Aquariums and Cactus nursery at Lindendale Rd. Wolongbar.
