Have been keeping an eye on a local paddock full of swamp grass . It has dried of now and is ready to collect , so off i go bag in hand . Found the wind had blown the dry seed heads onto a chain wire fence .
Where it had collected in great piles Yipee . That made it so easy for me . have enough now for ages . cheers
ps Scared a small group of quails while collecting .

Great to hear most your work was done for you. You can never have to much. If you have storage get enough for years in advance. Any extra you get you could sell for a few bucks and buy some birds with the money.
