Quail colours

Definitely a king quail mutation. It was in a cage with heaps of other king quail and was the same size. Also there were some pied cocks - looked normal but with quite a few white flight feathers. Not sure, maybe this one is actually a pied hen?

If it is a King, and you would know. Then yes. I aquired from a pet shop a pied king hen many years ago. 1/3 white, 2/3 cinnamon. But was only able to get 1 chick before she died. Age unknown. Tried to get it established but fertility and longivity were lousy.

I would say splashed - have seen pictures of similar birds from california.
