I would like to give a great "rap" to Terese & Barry Ryan the owners of Elenbee Seeds...
I went there about nine months ago; and discussed the thoughts of me getting back into birds (gouldians...) I wasn't sure back then, but now (as I have said before, I am back and looking for birds), I was told that "When you're ready... Come & talk to us; and we will get you in contact with breeders in Sydney".
So anyway, popped up to them yesterday & had a great chat, they're more than happy to pass my details off to breeders they know & also I'm going to use a breeding set up they reccommended.
I thought I would drop a line in the forum, to praise the service I receiced fron Terese & Barry, because when I came home and thought about my experience & discussed it with my parents, I was so pleased with their help, and also,that they were so generous with their willness to help.

Fortunately I now only live ten minutes away from their store; and I will make it my home store for bird supplies..

I can say is, that if your in Sydney, you need to go to Elenbee Seeds, it's all about breeding the birds and looking after them, and not selling them......And also they are remarkable people...

Seconded big time by the effort they've gone to to meet quarantine restrictions to ensure the best seed is sent down to us. Unfortunately we cannot just go out and buy our own as there are no growers here!!!!
Nothing a hassle and they have gone out of their way to make specialist mixes and get in rarer seeds for us.

When most just said "too hard to get seed to you" they stepped up and we are VERY happy seed punters here on the Apple Isle.
