Star finches fledged the nest

Today I walked in the aviary and saw that 4 baby star finches had fledged the nest wich is great

I couldent believe it when I walked into the aviary and saw 4 baby star finches . As this pair has atempted to build a nest once before this clutch and after about 2 months I pulled it apart and it was just solid grass so when I saw there second nest I thought it was the same thing and I dident think much of it I fergot about it actully then I walked into the aviary and I saw that there were 4 baby star finches this is the first time that I have ever bred star finches so I was very pleased when I saw them as the first time I atempted to breed star finches about 3 years ago they just died but I am having some breeding success with these ones wich is great I bought the perents along with anather pair of star finches in dubbo (I cant think of the pet shop name) and it started of to a bad start with one pair injuring itselfe but they ae the pair that ended up breeding. So I will buy 4 more star finches to make unrealated pairs and I will keep 2 for breeding and I will sell two pairs. So after I saw that the star finches had fledged chicks I looked in all the nests and discoverd that I have a pair of double barred finches on eggs, 2 pairs of zebra finches on eggs and a pair of zebra finches with chicks ( the zebra finches have had about 10 clutches of chicks with usualy 4 per clutch this year ) wich is great. So it has been a great breeding season for me so far.

Nathan, why not just swap two with someone else? Most people are happy to swap as it gives them unrelated pairs to sell or use themself.
