Bugger :(

I separated two female zebbies from my quaratine cage as they were getting picked on, and put them into a regular bird cage near the quaratine cage. Alas, I've just found this morning the cage on the ground, with the base split and the zebbies gone :( One was just a grey hen, but the other must have been a pied of some sort, as the edges of her wings were white and she had a single white feather in her tail. I was planning to breed her :(
I've left another cage with the door open and food inside in case they come back- hopefully they weren't eaten! Something big must have knocked the cage over; wasn't hte dog since she was inside with us all night. Very disappointing.

Update: they're still alive! Saw them fluttering about when I gave Bear (my German Shepherd) her breakfast. Fingers crossed!

Hope you catch them....you weren't going to taint your pure normals with that pied were you?

Lol not a chance! I've been given a bunch of random zebbies by a friend moving overseas, but they're kept well away from my pures! I don't even mix the normal domestics with my wild-type, just in case!
