Having Trouble Finding Wild-Type Budgies?

Well I can't answer the question - at least in a legal sense but I was impressed with the images shown on the ABC site today of
Budgies on the Nullabour.

I forgot what a beautiful little bird they are .
Been so long since Ive seen a wild type .

That first photo shows that the vast majority are young ones, still having the stripes on the forehead. Good breeding season.

Im sure I saw an ad on the local Gumtree for Bush Budgies, will check and see if I can find it.

I have some very nice wild origin budgies but I desperately need males.

i have forever flirted with the idea of wild type budgies.and at some stage will likely give them a go. i just think they are a wonderful little bird.
for those in victoria melbourne zoo has a beautiful landscaped dry riverbed aviary on the australian bush walk for bush budgies and (from memory) diamond sparrows.
