Hi....
there is a row of seaside daisies at the front of my gouldian avairy, some leaves grow thru the wire, but it was only today that i noticed 6 or 7 gouldians at the front chewing on the leaves and flowers.
i jumped online to see if it was safe to consume for my gouldians.
well i found out that humans can eat it and all the parts of the plant are edible, i then tried looking up to see if it was toxic to birds, couldn't really find a yes or no answer.
the birds would have had access to the leaves/flowers for over 12 months now but i had never seen them eat it.
any plant savvy forum members know if its a danger? doing my research i came across info stating it was high in calcium, and that their are over 300 varieties of daisies.

Tough as old boots that plant, I have it in the garden, survives on rainfall and it has sprouted up in several places where I never planted it. Interesting that the gouldians like it. Might be worth getting some in pots to rotate through the aviaries.
