Have recently acquired a male Gouldian that stood out from the rest simply because of his "lime green / silver colour" across his back and wings. All others in this lot were the "normal" dark green back and wings. In addition, in stark contrast to my other red heads and black heads he has little (as in no) black throat patch. His is basically a shade of Iridescent blue with a faint grey patch in the throat area. Any comments welcomed.
Thanks for any and all feedback in advance

Hi Spoton,
If you breed this bird with a Green hen-
Half his daughters will be Green backed and half will be Yellow backed
Half his sons will be Green backed and half will be the same as him.

Hi GaryH & Polar,
Thanks for your input to my queries. Yes, I did buy him when out "just looking" a few weeks ago - was different in colour and so stood out from the other birds. Apart from a normal green back, what would be the best colour type to pair him with?
thanks
