Yes you should clean out the nest box once the young have fledged....replace all the nesting material with new material...cleaning out what you can and leaving the nest box dry for their second clutch...cheers, Paul

Gday Harvey,sorry about the funny , but totally agree with paul once the chicks have left the nest it is unusual that they go back,so refurbish the nest within a few days,make sure to spray for any bugs and ASM if they happen to be around,and use a good dry grass to put in the box,good to see your birds doing well cheers garyh
