That is a first cross naturally occurring wild hybrid . Still a nice bird,I wonder :think: who culls them out in the wild?May be the birds we had and we thought were pure may have been 4th or 5th cross :oops: , wouldn't that be devastating to the purists!!!!!they would look pure :shock: .

Mind u have a nest ready to fledge and one sitting on 7 full eggs so no Bengos' required here yet my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........and just got 4 youngsters from another excellent chap and sending him back 4 from mine............so at long last things looking up!!!
