Good on you Ashlee, you, harvey and your daddy are going to be an unbeatable team! I love the color of your setup and the landscaping is awesome. One of my favorite chickens is the Rhode Island Red and I believe yours are a cross of both the red and white, and they are good egg layers. Once they get to know you - it will be hard to keep them away from you. Wish you all the best.

Great job, once they get to know the routine, they will come running to you to see what treats you have brought for them. Its really funny watching chickens running towards you at top speed!

Chickens make good pets when you are young. And when you get a bit older, finches make great pets.

Great setup, Ashlee :) I'm sure they'll be very happy in their new home! I used to have a Brown Isa called Jemima, who used to follow me around the yard and bully my dogs!

We have 6 Isa Brown hens here & if yours aren't too old you'd better prepare yourself for plenty of eggs. These ones are by far the best layers of any chook breed I've ever had. They get used to kids picking them up & cuddling them too - ours are now totally tame.
