Many nests fledging together

In the past week I've had heaps of nests from many different species fledge young, yet prior to last week almost no nests had fledged young for about 5 weeks or so. This time it does correspond with me dispatching the rat from one aviary some 5 weeks ago, but the young have fledged from other aviaries too and it's happened many times before. Somehow the different species in different aviaries at my joint seem to accurately synchronise their nesting times. Just an observation I've noticed over many years which has been reinforced this past week. Have others noticed this to be true?

Haven't noticed different speices in different flights but have noticed that same speices fledge young in around the same week, 3 pair of stars did the same thing twice while painteds in their colony was fledging young at a week difference also, just checked all nest boxes and looking at removing them from one flight only to discover that 4pr of painteds moved in 4 of the boxes and have young about a week old to eggs just hatching, no nesting for about 6weeks prior and all of a sudden bang new babies, there goes that idea of cleaning out that flight.

Yes Sam, I've noticed at different times my birds may have been in a bit of a lull & if, for example, a spell of good weather coincides with giving them a generous batch of fresh nesting grass, then about a month & a half later you get a magic run of multiple clutches fledged within a few days. It helps enormously if these favourable circumstances coincide with early Autumn or Spring too when most finches are seasonally keen to breed.
