Zebra Finch Show

Hi all.
This Saturday the best zebras in Australia will be on show at Waratah Golf Club Argenton when Lake Macquarie Zebra Finch Society Hold the Federation Show with teams from Western Australia,South Australia,Queensland,Lake Macquarie and Sydney.
Everyone is more than welcome,I now have a new Camera so I will post pics early next week.

Hi gomer.
It will be a good 3 days out , Friday most birds and people arrive have a few drinks , Saturday judging have a few drinks, Saturday Night dinner have a few more drinks , Sunday AM Federation meeting , Pm pack up and go home. ;)

PS There will be a lot of quality Zebras for sale on Saturday.

a mate of mine in the WA zeb club has got 1 bird in but isnt flying over . lets see if we West aussies can take the title out once again this year. and garry cant wait to see some pics from there too

It`s going to be very close this year , between WA , NSW , QLd and LMZ I don`t think SA has a chance even with a few VIC club members showing for them.
It will be great when the VICs can put a team in may be in the near future.

Thanks Garry,But i think there will be a distance problem.As i am 4 to 5 hours from Melbourne.And i think all the professional zebbie breeders would come from there.Do you know why they are called aluminas ?As i like them because i work at a smelter.Its process is to turn alumina into aluminium.I assume it may be the colour.

It's a shame it wasnt on 35 years earlier, I used to caddy there when I was a kid. There used to be a lot of reddies and double bars on the golf course back then.
