When I bought my gouldians they were normal uncoloured young, 2 pair of them have now bred and I am wondering what head colour I should expect from the young?

Pair one has fledged 3 young

Pair two has fledged 6 young.

I dont have any black headed males and I am hoping that some of these young will be black headed males, does anyone have any suggestions what colours I should expect from these 2 combinations.

Thanks

You will fine it hard to get a good answer as it depends on the head colour of your birds parents as a lot of people mix the colours in there breeding,

Thank you very much for the link, looks like it's still a bit of a lottery.
I guess it just adds to the suspense not knowing what the young will look like.

Thanks
