So are quail live feeders too ?? Hang on, just answered my own stupid question ! When i move the logs they are straight in there for a feed on any bugs - should i throw in extra meal worms for good measure ? I'm with Tintola - I've seen rats consume mice like that before - just the brains often - nice high fat meal when feeding baby rats high fat milk.

I would defiantly think a quail would do that.But I would be surprised if a quail would catch a healthy mouse,I know I have problems catching them.It may have been sick or baited.Hopefully not baited for the quails sake.
