If you live in Perth or have the opportunity to relocate you can turn your interest into a career at the Caversham Wildlife Park who are after an experienced full-time bird keeper. For details follow the Caversham link.

Yes, thanks. Sent to the daughter, with a note to apply while advising she is temporarily out of the country. Even if she lets them know she would like to work part time, while continuing her lecturing part time.

Congratulations. I would have gone for it myself but I was afraid of coming up against you! I hope it works well for both you and Caversham. Now you can learn about red-ears at someone else's expense.

Thanks guys. Greg, I thought the travel may have been a bit of an issue for you...
Dream job is about right natamambo. When I went for a wander around after my interview, there were more species than I'd even dreamed of! Excellent opportunity, lots of fun, and I see myself being there for a while! Hopefully I'll be able to bring a lot to the place.

Look forward to seeing you in action late next year when we hopefully do our big trip around the block
