The BAYCOX 5% is cloudy and is designed for piglets direct to mouth. It doesn't mix well in water because it is a suspension, so settles out when used in water.
Being double the concentration of the baycox 2.5%, (the clear form used in drinking water to treat chickens), it is too concentrated for the finches to use direct to beak or by crop needle ie you can't actually measure the amount required to dose the average finch- it actually works out at 0.0075 mls for the average 15 gm finch!!!
It would be ok for direct dosing of larger birds such as parrots or poultry.

Lets get back to baytril 10% Myzomela. I was told that with the 10% baytril it can be diluted with distilled water to get the strength down then it can be given directly to the beak.Any thoughts about that.

I'm not sure I should comment about Baytril 10% as we do not have that formulation in Australia.
In theory it may work but it may depend on whether
a) the injectable formulation is absorbed well from the bird's gut; and
b) if by diluting it in water it mixes well with the water or not.
It probably would be ok but I would check with a local bird vet who would be more familiar with the 10% formulation.

Riyaad one of the few places in CT you can get Baytril is Sprinkbok Pharmacy. They sell it decanted into 2ml plus bottles.
The one sold to aviculturist is the oral 10% which is used by adding it at 0.4ml per 100ml water into their drinking water for 3-7 days depending on the severity of infection.
I've also been instructed by my vet to give one drop directly to the beak of a very ill bird / add it to their hand formula. (This was for baby finch size being hand reared).
This pharmacy also sells most other bird meds as they cater for pigeon fanciers.
They would also have the correct Baycox or ESB3 which works well too.
They are well worth visiting to stock up on supplies depending on where you are situated.

I got my Baycox 2,5% from them,but I ran out of supply and went back to get more but they only had the 5% percent which are for pigs. The reason for my question below.
