I was just wondering if there was ever any record of this species being kept in Australia or abroad. I havent found any info on the internet. I saw these very regularly when I was backpacking around Africa particularly in Uganda about 10 years ago. One of the nicest finches Ive seen.

There kept and in the UK and South Africa But not any left in Australia

I've never heard of them being kept in Australia.
