Yep I bought a pair . Probably a very ordinary pair at $6 each but I think they are too cute .

Question ..seller had a yellow beaked pied hen , would I need a yellow beak boy to get yellow beak young or would it be a 50/ 50 chance .

Hi Deb, to get 100 % yellow bill, yes yellow bill cock bird, yellow bill is recessive.

Zebman,if thats the case,if Deb bought that yellow billed hen and bred it to a normal,the resulting young would all be splits to yellow bill which could be bred back to her to get yellow bills,yeah? Craig

Correct, some hens won't except yellow billed cock birds as mates as the bill is not bright enough, so a split cock bird is sometimes better.
