How to treat Gape worm?

Does anyone know the best product to kill gape worm? Is Ivermectin available in Australia?

not sure on the best treatment for gape worm but yes Ivermectin is available in many places, try aussie wildlife supplies, aust pigeon company, dr colin walker or some of your good produce or bird outlets.

Hi Wes and welcome to AFF. Most bird people use Moxidectin as it's got a wider margin of safety than Ivermectin. I believe it treats most parasites including gape worm.

Out of curiosity how do you know it is gape worm?
