Whats an average size clutch for Zebs please ?

is 8 ridiculous ?

I have had 3 to 7 chicks fledge average i have fledging is 5 chicks

I've had hens lay up to 12 eggs, but the largest clutch (that survived to fledging) I've had has been 6. Mine seem to have 3-5 chicks on average.
