Despite the bitterly cold mornings its a great time of year in the Alice. Most flowering plants are just about to bloom, we are having a mini reprieve from the cold with 25 deg forecast for a few days. I think Sunday was about -5 in the morning. Been doin some work in the front yard, (came across the legless lizard)as we will probably sell this house before Xmas
Currently have 3 species of Eramophilas,2 Grivilleas,Westringia, and Lavender flowering. Even the Ruby Dock (which is a weed) looks good.Its a bit of mess but it attracts a multitude of bird species.Sorry for posting flower pics but the Scarlet Honeyeater post got me going
